Strike - Fire Emblem (GBA)
Like countless others, a particular game known as Super Smash Bros. Melee introduced me to the world of Fire Emblem. How could it be that awesome looking, sword wielding people are playable characters when we didn't know where they had come from? Well fortunately for us, Nintendo used this as an opportunity to localise the Fire Emblem series.
My Fire Emblem experience started with the game this song comes from, the aptly named "Fire Emblem" on the Game Boy Advance. Since playing that particular title, I have played these games on the DS and Wii, as well as wanting to hunt down the elusive Gamecube title.
Back to the song though, this particular song is actually the battle music you will hear upon launching attacks with regular enemies. Even though it plays frequently, it's one of those songs that you will actually go out of your way to keep listening to. If that doesn't get you in a strategy RPG mood, then even the title music can help you out! Great music for a great game!
